The process is intentionally light: submit once, watch for results, and return for a new theme next month.

Is it really free to enter?

Yes. The preliminary round is free for up to three images.

When does the $15 finalist fee apply?

Only artists invited to advance pay the one-time $15 finalist-round fee. It confirms participation in final judging but does not guarantee an award.

What if I do not want to pay the finalist fee?

You may decline the invitation. Your work simply will not advance to final judging, and you will not be charged.

Are the awards cash prizes?

No. Meridian awards are exhibition and recognition honors, not cash payouts. Selected artists receive prominent placement and a digital award or selection seal.

How often do calls open?

One call opens each month with a different theme. Only one call is active at a time, so the process stays clear and focused.

How will selected work be presented?

Selected work will appear in a curated online exhibition. The Meridian Award leads the show, followed by the three Axis Citations and the Circle Selection.

Do artists keep the rights to their work?

Yes. Artists retain copyright. Selected artists only grant Meridian permission to display their work in the exhibition and related promotion.
